Title: Sport as a pedagogical tool Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify and describe, based on available literature and on interviews with coaches and educators, how sport can be used as a pedagogic tool in practice. Methods: The theoretical part contains an analysis of the literature on the pedagogic impact of sport. On the basis of this analysis, three organisations were selected (Ambassadors FC Praha, Scout, Sokol). These organizations were chosen because their goal is personal formation through sport; moreover I have personal experience with these organizations. For these organisations, an analysis of materials (websites, magazines, methodologies) was carried out in order to identify their values, goals, and pedagogic emphases. In addition, I assessed various psychological and pedagogic studies identifying thus the areas that are most easily influenced through sport. The practical part identifies, through semi-structured interviews with one coach from each selected organisation, what their pedagogic activities look like in practice. Bullying and Cyberbullying Among Secondary School Children in the Sport Clubs

The bachelor thesis addresses the Bullying and Cyberbullying Among Secondary School Children in the Sport Clubs. The theoretical part defines risky behaviour of children and teenagers, in particular bullying and cyberbullying. It also contains characterization of the psychological and physical development of the child, organizations focused on the physical and sporting activities of children and last, but not least sports clubs of modern gymnastics. To prepare research part of bachelor thesis a qualitative type of research was used. Qualitative research was conducted by a method of interviewing, a technique of semi-structed interviewing. The research group consisted of coaches working with Secondary School Children in modern gymnastics clubs within the South Bohemian Region, which are part of the Czech Union of Modern Gymnastics. Based on the results, it was found that coaches rather know how to handle investigations of bullying and cyberbullying. Furthermore, it was found that the coaches were not given a methodological plan on how to proceed properly. If coaches were offered participation in the prevention programme, most of them would participate. The results of this bachelor thesis can provide an interesting basis for wider research into bullying and cyberbullying in sports clubs. Furthermore, it can be an inspiration for coaches or for a methodological material, for the development of a preventive programme for children's sports clubs. Finally, it can be an interesting incentive for parents of children who attend such clubs.

Development of youth volleyball in Nachodsko region

Title: Possibilities of volleyball development in Náchod region Objectives: The primary goal of this thesis is to identify and analyze current problems of volleyball development in selected region of Náchod and also to propose possible solutions to the most significant issues. Secondary goal is to analyze current membership base, financial situation of volleyball clubs and other presumed problems preventing good development of volleyball sport in given region. Methods: The main method used in this thesis is a case study based on the analysis of primary and secondary data complemented by simple quantitative methods. Primary data was obtained from semi-structured interviews with local professionals. Secondary data were collected from the clubs historical materials, internet and other sources. To complement the case study there is also basic quantitative analysis of secondary data obtained from the statistics of membership base based on analyzing occurrence frequency and percentage reports for selected volleyball clubs. Results: There are main findings about membership base in Czechia which is constantly declining. On the contrary in the group of girl and boy pupils there is an opposite trend in recent years both in Czechia and in selected region clubs. This growth is happening thanks to the project...

Title: Objective barriers and initiation of adults' recreational sport -case of Hradec Králové city Objectives: The aim of the work is to find out the possibilities and offer in matter of sport activities and recreational sport activities of the adult population. The emphasis is on organised activities and their forms on the example city of Hradec Kralove. Also the aim is to find out the interest of the population in Hradec Kralove in both spontaneous and organised sport activities. Furthermore, another goal is to reveal the satisfaction of the target group in the offer of sports and at the same time to define possible obstacles that are mostly the reason for the adult population not to do sports at their free time. Methods: The research combines both quantitative and qualitative methods. In order to reveal the offer in sports activities an analysis was made. Sources of this analysis were mostly the accessible documents and the web sites of the organisations, in some cases also telephone questionnaire. The influence of the sports club on the development of the region

The diploma thesis deals with the influence of sports clubs on the development of the region - South Bohemian Region. The task of the work is to determine and analyze the effects of sports activities on the development of the region and to follow up the measures leading to the improvement of the current state. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis defines the basic concepts of regional development, such as region, regional development or regional policy. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the field of sport, including its relation to the development of the region. The practical part examines the factors and areas in which sports clubs can contribute to regional development. The work also examines the statistics of sport, the development of the membership base and the number of sports clubs. Subsequently, the economic impacts of sports clubs on the region are evaluated by quantitative analysis. One output of this work is the identification of possible impacts of sport on regional development and their subsequent quantitative analysis. Another output is the evaluation of the survey of sports clubs in the South Bohemian region in terms of the current status of sports clubs in individual size groups of municipalities. The conclusion of the practical part includes an analysis of the impact analysis and the research of the sports clubs.

Leisure time sports activities of older school-age children in Příbram

The aim of this thesis is to explore sports activities of older school-age children in Příbram. It lists local sports clubs which are available to children and examines their history and the quality of the services they offer. A survey was conducted in order to determine the percentage of older school-age students actively engaging in sports, which sports club they chose, and why. The students who don't participate in sport activities were questioned on whether it's because of an absence of a preferred sport in Příbram or due to other reasons, e.g. lack of interest. Sports opportunities in Benesov and its vicinity

Title: Sports opportunities in Benešov and its vicinity Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to assess and analyse the sports opportunities in Benešov and its vicinity and to propose, on the basis of the obtained results, certain changes that could improve the current situation. Methods: The thesis uses primarily the analytical method of research. The method was applied in analysing the local sports grounds, sports facilities and sports clubs. In order to gain vital information from the inhabitants of Benešov, a set of interviews was also used. Furthermore, the SWOT analysis was applied as a means of obtaining a clearer assessment of the local sports environment. Results: The local sports situation has been assessed and analysed. The local sports grounds, sports facilities and sports clubs have been analysed. Opinions of the local inhabitants have also been gained by means of a set of interviews. On the basis of obtained information and opinions, various recommendations for improving the current situation have been created. These recommendations are aimed both at the municipality of Benešov and at private entities and sports clubs.
